A downloadable game

Quasimodo's Jungle Jeopardy is a reworking of the classic game Pitfall! for the Commodore 64 home computer.

This game is the third of 3 spin-off games featuring the Quasimodo character from the currently in development game Hunchback Redux, also for the Commodore 64.

Background

Quasimodo was out walking one late summer's day in the countryside and stumbled upon an odd object half-burried in the ground.  It was a metallic box shape with some flashing lights, some dials and a red button.  Lifting it out of the ground and cleaning off the dirt he wondered what it could be.  He turned a couple of dials and they made a clicking sound as he turned them.  He pressed the red button and the lights started to flash faster and faster.  After a few seconds he was enveloped in a bright white light and vanished from the countryside.

The white light that surrounded him faded and he rubbed his eyes to find he was no longer in the countryside, but somewhere else.  He was sat down in a small clearing within a Jungle, not that he knew what that meant - but he didn't like it, it didn't feel right to him.  Before he could get fully aware of his surroundings, something or someone had been watching him and took the metallic box from his hand and fled deep into the jungle.

What was he to do now?  He had no choice, he had to try and find whatever took the metallic box from him and use it to get back home.  He set off into the Jungle in the direction of the thief.  What will he find lurking for him?  Will he able to get home?

You must take on the role of Quasimodo and guide him through the jungle avoiding the dangers which lurk within and find the object that brought him far from home and return him to safety.

Current game features are not available, as this game is classified as 'In development'.  No release date is confirmed.

oooh !!! Great my friend !!

Thank you.  I've had the idea for some time, I've only just around to sharing this.  I'm still working on the graphics at the moment and setting up the framework for the game engine, given it will be a flick-screen adventure like Hunchback Redux.  Hopefully I will have the scorpion moving in the next update, he looks a bit more nasty than in the original game. :)
