Development update


There is now some additional background mood lighting in the form of flickering candles in the first set of seven game screens. I thought I would add this in as I found some room in the character set and it doesn't take too much code/raster time to animate them. It also stops the game screens looking too static in nature.

I've also started to introduce some sinister creatures emerging from swamps. Swamps were always a plan to add into the first part of the game with the graveyard theme. The only issue was how best to implement them, but now I've worked that out they are in the game and looking pretty good. I'm also happy with the creature design.

Over the next few weeks, I will be busy coding the enemy logic and Quasimodo's throwing routines amongst other things.
